My iTunes:  Pleads and Postcards by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

For those of you who have been following my photography since I was living in London, you know I love benches.  I made a point while in Guatemala to seek out as many as I could and get pics of them.  Here are a few of my favorites.  The woodworking craft there is just stunning.  If I could have loaded up my bag and brought some back I would have in a minute!

Benches always remind me to stop and take it all in so I did just that on my trip.  People watching is one of my favorite things and a good bench provides the best seat in the house!  Have a great weekend everyone!

Love the handcrafted quality of these benches. The first shot is the type of artwork I just love. Great texture and earty feel.

I love rough, old, hand-carved benches.

I don’t know how I missed part 1 of this series. Although I enjoy your portrait work, it’s nice to see your travel photos make a return visit. You discover, capture, and process in a way that keeps folks coming back for more. Nice work, Anna.

The first shot is my favorite. I love the muted colors and textures of the wall, and the weathered bench immediately conjures images of conversations enjoyed and confidences whispered through the years. Wonderful photos, Anna.
