antigua. take one.

My iTunes:  Gives You Hell by The All-American Rejects

I am finally getting back into a routine after my trip to Antigua, Guatemala.  I went there to photograph a wedding for a friend that lives there.  It was completely amazing.  Every turn was a real feast for my eyes!  This post is the first look through my viewfinder into the streets of Antigua.  The walls, doorways and windows were so colorful that I could barely walk straight as I took it all in! I couldn’t resist the last shot of Sadie girl in one of the unique doorways.

I hope you enjoy these!  Have a great week everyone!

bennie & friends

My iTunes:  Get On Your Boots by U2

When I was visiting in Louisville, my niece was in a hair show at bennie & friends.  You should check out their website.  Bennie Pollard is a leader in his industry not only in styling but also in products with his line, benniefactor, which he runs with his wife.  Go to www.benniefactor.com for locations where you can get his products for both men and women in your area.

I snapped shots all night and really had quite a good time with everyone.  You can tell by the pics below that we all had fun!  On that note, I am headed for fun in the next few days as I make my way to Guatemala.  A missionary friend of mine is getting married and I am going there with my daughter to photograph the wedding.  We are both thrilled.  I cannot wait to go roaming with my camera and bring back lots of pics to share here with you!

Take care everyone!

three’s a crowd

My iTunes:  Shine On by The Kooks

Again with cousins…

Those of you who my regular readers may recognize these three…I photographed them in the summer.  Since my website is still being reworked, I am having to add some of my previous sessions so that they will be here in my portfolio.  I love looking at past sessions.  I am reminded of how much I have been doing in the few months since then and how much joy I am getting from my “work”…

I hope you enjoy these even more the second time around…
