My iTunes:  Here I Am, Send Me by Matt Papa

Happy Father’s Day!

I am missing my father very much today but I am looking forward to seeing him next week when I make a trip to Kentucky.  I am combining business and pleasure on my trip so if anyone is interested in a shoot make sure to contact me before I leave next Monday.

Just above is Leah.  You may remember her and her brother from a post a few months ago.  You will be able to watch her grow here over the next year since I will be photographing her every few months.  I thought this would be great for Father’s Day since I snapped a few with their dad during our session.  She is one cute kid…I am 99% sure she gets it from her older brother.   Lucky girl.

Enjoy these!

My iTunes:  Where Is the Difference? by Matt Papa

Hey y’all!  My accent comes out every now and then (perfect for this post)!

What can I say about Kentucky girls?  First of all, I am one.  They can roll around in the dirt and then dress up for the Derby.  Gotta love it.  A girl can be whoever she wants!  Meet Parker and Elizabeth.  I was able to photograph these two sisters when I was visiting home last time.  We had a great time!  We went out to a neighbors farm and just hung out and played.  These are just a few of my favorites from the day.  I am headed back to Louisville in just a few weeks and I am booking sessions!   Contact me if you are interested in a session!

Hope you all are enjoying your summer!

boys will be boys

My iTunes:  These Photographs by Joshua Radin

Brothers. I love to watch brothers.  I have two boys that are 18 months apart so the dynamic always makes me curious.   Meet Trevor and Tyler.  They are the sons of a friend of mine from high school.  I was able to reconnect with Tricia on a recent trip to Louisville for photo shoots and was thrilled to photograph her boys.

Personalities come out quick when my camera turns on and the boys were great.  Just as I do with my own boys, I waited.  Snapped….waited some more.   Snapped and captured them interacting with each other and having fun together.  There were a few moments like the pic above where I was wondering if a fight was going to break out!  Thankfully, that never happened!  We did all right didn’t we Tricia?

I sure hope you all enjoy these images!  This is one of my largest posts yet because of my indecision.  These are just a few favorites of mine.

TO BROTHERS…..
